- Underpass Bar - another newbie in the Viaduct area, this venue by a flyover on Lower Hobson Street offers street food for less than $10
- Vikki Lane - the Wine Loft has relocated to this bistro on a new laneway off Victoria Street
- Dixie BBQ is popping up in O'Connell Street for the month of April
- Cheeki Cafe - cafe opposite Albert Park on the Chancery side, offering freshly assembled baguettes and Ben and Jerry's ice cream
- Bestie - cafe with classy comfort food in St Kevins Arcade, where Alleluya used to be

- Woodside Cafe - family run cafe with 100% gluten free food in Birkenhead
- The Beer Spot - freehouse in Northcote with 40 rotating boutique beers on tap, and a different food truck every week supplementing their menu.

- Barilla Dumpling Restaurant 百味餃子酒樓 - second branch of the popular Balmoral dumpling shop has opened in Mount Eden
- Kang Chong 강촌 - Korean Chinese restaurant in Mount Eden
- Bluebells Cakery Cafe - the original Hillborough store has been renovated into a pastel coloured cafe
