- Catalyst Coffee - Remuera cafe from two national barista champions, where everything is single-origin (coffee, tea and chocolate) and they can name the country, farm and story of each cup
- Scout - specialty coffee and eatery in Torbay, from the owner of Epsom cafe Hello Friends and Allies, with exciting twists on the cafe menu, and drip filter and nitro cold brew coffee on tap, as well as three different Kokako roasts to choose from each day

- Auckland Lantern Festival 2017 (9-12 February) - annual celebration of Chinese New Year with lots of food stalls in the Domain, this time even bigger with the addition of the Night Noodle Markets
- Te Atatu Night Market (Friday 10 February) - first event of the year for the monthly market
- Meatstock (25-26 February) - music and meat festival which originated in Australia is debuting in NZ at the ASB Showgrounds, with 38 teams in the Barbecue Wars
- Japan Day 2017 (25-26 February) - celebration of Japanese food and culture at The Cloud and Shed 10
- Auckland Coffee Festival (Saturday 4 March) - event for coffee enthusiasts at Shed 10
