- Le Chef - "fresh seasonal cuisine" in the Empire Hotel building, from a couple of experienced Frenchmen
- Hansik - Korean restaurant above Victoria Park Market, with beautifully presented and tasty food

- Lebanese Kitchen - Lebanon on a plate at Food Alley, with ouzi, mdardara and other dishes

- Woodpecker Hill - Southeast Asian fused with Texan style BBQ, from Mark Wallbank and Che Barrington
- Pho Saigon has opened another branch in Mount Eden
